THE service

We operate a scheduled bus service from Moniaive, Dunscore and Shawhead to Castle Douglas, every second Thursday.

PICKUP

Moniaive 11.15am,
Kirkland 11:20,
Wallaceton 11.25,
Dunscore 11.30,

then via Newtonairds and Shawhead, arriving in Castle Douglas at midday.

Return journey from Castle Douglas at 3.05pm, arriving back in Moniaive at 4.00pm.

Passengers can join the bus anywhere between Moniaive and Shawhead, and the service is open to everyone.

The return fare is £3.50*

*Concessionary fares bus passes can be used on this service.
